Does eHive have a spell checker?

Postby paul » Thu Jun 10, 2010 4:50 pm

Is there a spell check function that can be used during data entry in eHive?

A spell checker can be implemented at the web browser level, rather than directly in eHive. It can then work on all websites/web products you use. We recommend using Google Chrome's web browser, as the spell checker is installed by default (invalid words are underlined in red as you type) and the Chrome browser is (as at June 2010) faster than the alternatives. The free Google Chrome download is here:
http://www.google.com/chrome/index.html?hl=en-GB&brand=CHMA&utm_campaign=en_gb&utm_source=en_gb-ha-apac-aunz-bk&utm_medium=ha

(or search for Download Google Chrome using Google search if the link has moved)

If you are using Internet Explorer 8 or above, the Google Toolbar can be installed for free to get access to the spell checker: http://www.google.com/toolbar

(or search for Google Toolbar in Google search if the link has moved)
